I made mine by using perforated plastic, cutting out the finished pieces along the edges, and gluing a ribbon loop and piece of felt to the back:

I recently bought your book at the bookstore and came home to look up your website. I don't know how to crochet yet and I was so excited to find these cross stitch charts. I do a lot of cross stitch. Do you plan on making more? They are so cute! But I was curious how many strands you used to stitch them. Did you use all six or did you use two or three? I got all my supplies ready to go to make them, just wanted to know your recommendation. Thanks!

I'm trying to remember... off the top of my head, I think that it was two strands of floss at a time (possibly three?) Give two a try and see if you're getting proper coverage (...and, of course, this will sort of depend of what you wind up doing your stitching *on* :) )

I love your amigurumis, but I'm really glad you posted these cross stitch patterns. I crochet and cross stitch, and there is an endless variety of cute crochet patterns out there, but a lack of good cross stitch charts. These are adorable, and I'll definitely be using them!
