Not familiar with what "jogless stripes" are? If you've every tried to make stripes while single crocheting in the round, you might have noticed a "stairstep" pattern which shows up where you switch colors. These techniques seek to remove, or at least minimize the effect.

Here I walk through the steps used to crochet the loop stitch used in my pufferfish pattern.
